Bathinda, May 20

City-based scholar Nishant Garg (26) developed a curriculum on ‘emotional self-defence’ and presented research papers related to the subject in the Harvard College conference in the US recently. Garg’s presentation was primarily focused on social policy formulation for the implementation of the curriculum in educational systems in Asian countries.

After being encouraged by a peer at Delhi College of Engineering (was pursuing MA in Information System) to present his research papers at the world’s premiere university, Garg submitted his documents online.

After thorough analysing and scrutiny, Nishant’s project was selected by the jury members at the university and invited him to be part of the Harvard College Conference held on February 15. — TNS
