Chandigarh, June 30

The city on Wednesday reported nine new cases of Covid-19 and no death. The number of active cases has come down to 154 as 23 patients were cured of the disease. — TNS

One death, 13 cases in Mohali

Mohali: The district saw one Covid death and 13 positive cases on Wednesday. A total of 29 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. Among the new cases, one was reported from Mohali, two from Dhakoli, five from Kharar, three from Dera Bassi and one each from Boothgarh and Kurali. Of the 68,247 positive cases reported so far, 66,950 patients have been cured. There are now 248 active cases in the district. — TNS

5 cases, no death in Panchkula

panchkula: The district on Wednesday reported five fresh Covid cases, taking the overall tally to 30,586. With no new death, the toll remained at 374. While 30,156 patients have recovered from the infectious disease so far, 56 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 98.59 per cent. — TNS
