Lifestyle coach Luke Coutinho held a session on ‘Manage your Lifestyle’ organised by FICCI FLO. He emphasised that emotional stress had a bearing on the physical wellbeing and health of people, so one should try to keep emotional stress in check by having an attitude of gratitude and take life as it comes. One must control one’s mind and emotions first to lead a happier and healthier life.
He said just an hour or so in the morning is not enough for fitness, but one should strive to remain active throughout the day. Walking is a must for it. Yoga and walking should be the next. For weightlifting preference should be for lifting one’s own body weight, he added.
He added that as everyone unique, so a diet plan for one person doesn’t suit another. He also emphasized on avoiding the use of mobile phones before going to bed.
