To celebrate Basant Panchami, a special morning assembly to worship the Goddess Saraswati was organised by Class VIII B at the main assembly ground of Darshan Academy School. Students and teachers in traditional clothes added colour to the celebration. After worshiping Goddess Saraswati, sweets were distributed. Students from Nursery to UKG made kites and many types of flowers on this occasion.
DAV Public School
Basant was celebrated with fervour at DAV Public School, BRS Nagar. The celebrations commenced by paying obeisance to the Goddess Saraswati, followed by a rendition of Saraswati Vandana. Students of the foundation wing came dressed in yellow attire. The students relished yellow food items that they had brought to celebrate the occasion. Principal JK Sidhu motivated the students to be progressive learners and to set big goals. She asked the students to put in dedicated efforts to realise their dreams and flourish into the finest individuals.
Victoria Public School
Victoria Public School, Lehra, marked Basant Panchami with gaeity. Melodious hymns and chants filled the corridors. In their resplendent traditional attires, students contributed to the festivities with active participation in various activities. From the sacred rituals of Saraswati Puja to the spectacle of kite-flying, and from musical renditions to poem recitations, each moment was spent welcoming spring.
