Ludhiana: The police booked four persons for violating curfew. The first case was registered against the owner of Bala Ji Fast Food, near CMC Hospital, by the Police Division 3. Investigation officer ASI Madan Lal said during routine patrolling to check the violations of curfew, the fast food shop was found open. Another case was registered by the Police Division 1 against the owner of Gurbachan Singh and Sons, a provisional store at the Rekhi chowk. Investigation officer ASI Major Singh said the shop was found opened during lockdown period. The Moti Nagar police booked Sonu Gupta of Moti Nagar, whose gas cylinder repair shop was found open. The Moti Nagar police registered a case against Rajvir Singh as he was caught celebrating birthday during lockdown. Head Constable Kuldeep Singh said the accused had gathered more than 100 persons at some park near Kutia Sahib gurdwara to celebrate his birthday. TNS
