Ludhiana Municipal Corporation restricts entry of visitors to its offices

Ludhiana, July 15

Amid the coronavirus crisis, the Municipal Corporation (MC) has restricted the entry of visitors to its offices. Municipal Commissioner Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal took preventive measures after number of officials and employees tested positive for the coronavirus.

Residents have been asked to send their complaints on e-mail IDs of officials concerned instead of visiting offices of the MC. A box has been kept outside zonal offices to receive complaints. The MC has also released email-IDs of officials.

Residents can also contact officials at numbers 0161-4085013 and 0161-4085038 for getting their complaints registered.

Earlier, a Joint Commissioner and two safai karamcharis of the MC had tested positive for the Covid-19.

On the orders of Municipal Commissioner Pardeep Kumar Sabharwal, staff has been deployed at entry points of MC offices with hand sanitisers and thermal scanners.
