Fatehgarh Sahib, January 21
An unknown person disguised as a Nihang was arrested by the police for trying to enter Gurdwara Jyoti Saroop Sahib in an inebriated condition last night.
The event came to light as an on-duty sewadar, Amritpal Singh, grew suspicious when the man tried to enter the gurdwara.
He called a few devotees and police for help after the unidentified person began hurling abuses at him.
The police reached the gurdwara and took the suspect into custody, and an investigation is on.
