Our Correspondent

Sangrur, February 2

Succumbing to the pressure of employees of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), the management credited pending salaries and pensions into their bank accounts.

These payments were credited into bank accounts at that time when PSPCL employees were holding a protest rally at the main gate of PSPCL’s circle office here against partial payments of salaries and pensions for January that had been given yesterday. The protest rally started at about 10 am and culminated at 11 am as a victory rally.
