Chandigarh, June 26
The Ranjit Sagar Dam and Shahpur Kandi Dam Project Engineers today mourned the death of former Chief Engineer Avtar Singh, who played a key role in the construction of the two dams.
Avtar died at the age of 83 on Friday in Mohali. A virtual condolence meeting, in which several retired engineers participated, was held to pay homage to the departed soul. — TNS
