PSPCL gets  ‘B+’ grade in service ratings

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has been given B+ grade by the Ministry of Power in the third edition of consumer service rating of discoms. The PSPCL is placed at the 31st position and the average grade of all the discoms assessed for the year 2022-23 is B+.

Union Minister for Power and New and Renewable Energy R K Singh released the third edition of the consumer service ratings of discoms, covering the performance, for financial year 2022-23.

The discoms were judged on the basis of four parameters, operational reliability (45 marks), metering and billing (35 marks), fault repair and grievances redressal (10 marks) and connection and other services (10 marks).
