6 booked for injuring four of family in attack

KHARAR:Four residents of nearby Jandpur village were injured seriously when they were allegedly attacked by six persons on Tuesday night.

Four residents of nearby Jandpur village were injured seriously when they were allegedly attacked by six persons on Tuesday night. Personal enmity is cited as the reason behind the attack. 

The Kharar Sadar police have registered a case under Sections 323 341, 452, 506, 427, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code against Gaganpreet Singh, Maninder Kaur, Baljinder Singh, Charanjit Singh and his two brothers.

The complainant Kulwinder Singh told the police that the suspects entered the house of his uncle Narinder Singh and beat him up badly. Later, the suspects attacked Didar Singh, Kulwinder’s grandfather, and Charanjit Kaur, his mother. 

All the injured Narinder Singh, Didar Singh, Charanjit Kaur and Kulwinder Singh have been admitted to the Civil Hospital, Kharar.
