Chandigarh, July 13

Gangster Dilpreet Singh, who was discharged from the PGI on Friday afternoon and later remanded in two-day police custody, was admitted to another hospital seven hours after he was discharged. This time, he was admitted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32.

During these seven hours, Dilpreet was kept in an ambulance due to his medical condition.

After being taken to the District Courts in Sector 43, Dilpreet was shifted to the Sector 36 police station in the same ambulance and he kept lying in the ambulance, which was parked at the police station till late evening before being shifted to the hospital.

Dilpreet remained hospitalised at the PGI for four days due to a gunshot injury. Unable to walk or even sit on a wheelchair, Dilpreet was taken from the private room of the hospital to the ambulance, which was parked outside the trauma centre, on a stretcher.
