Chandigarh: City boys defeated Haryana by 15 runs to win the 64th National School Games U-19 Championship for Cricket in Jammu on Tuesday. Opting to bat, Chandigarh scored 127/6 in 20 overs.

Janam (29 not out), Aryan Verma (27) and Manav Malik (23) made useful contributions to the total. Surya Narayan chipped in with 22 runs. Naveen picked two wickets for Haryana, while Vivek and Rohit took a wicket each. In reply, Haryana were all out for 112 runs. Ranjodh and Gurmehar claimed three wickets each, while Manav bagged two wickets for Chandigarh. Vishal (15) was the top scorer for Haryana. TNS
