CHANDIGARH:Daksh Khokar blanked Kanav Bansal 6-0 to win the title in the combined U-10 category on the concluding day of the Sunrise Open Tennis Championship at the Chandigarh Club, Sector 1, on Sunday.

Daksh Khokar blanked Kanav Bansal 6-0 to win the title in the combined U-10 category on the concluding day of the Sunrise Open Tennis Championship at the Chandigarh Club, Sector 1, on Sunday. In the semifinals, Khokar defeated Jeskirat Singh 5-2, while Bansal registered an identical 5-2 win over Abhinav.

Akshat Dhull won the boys' U-12 title after registering a 6-0 victory over Advit Tiwary. Dhull had defeated Yashdish 5-3 to reach the final, while Tiwary had blanked Aryan Mahajan 5-3 in the semis. In the final of boys' U-14, Pankaj Kumar blanked Dhruv Pratap Singh 6-0. In the semis, Dhruv defeated Prabir Singh 5-1, while Pankaj registered a 5-4(4) win over Yashdish. Sia Mahajan won the title in the girls' U-12 category after defeating Ajenika 6-2. Sia defeated Niharika Moudgil 5-0 in the semifinals, while Ajenika defeated Kanishka 5-1. Khushi Sharma won the girls' U-14 title after a 6-3 win over Sehaj Kaur. In the semis, Sehaj defeated Ajenika 5-4(5) and Khushi outplayed Kashvi 5-0.
