MOHALI: Two photos of a submerged airport that had gone viral on the social media following a heavy downpour in the city apparently kept the airport authorities on their toes.

Mohali, July 27

Two photos of a submerged airport that had gone viral on the social media following a heavy downpour in the city apparently kept the airport authorities on their toes. It was claimed that both photos, showing around seven aeroplanes, two Volvo buses and a tractor standing at the submerged airport, were of the Chandigarh international airport. Local airport CEO Sunil Dutt said, “Please don’t talk about the photos. It’s not our airport”. — TNS
