Gold jewellery, Rs 20K stolen from house

CHANDIGARH:Thieves decamped with some gold ornaments and Rs 20,000 from a house in Sector 11 here.

Thieves decamped with some gold ornaments and Rs 20,000 from a house in Sector 11 here.

According to the police, the complainant, Shruti Shukla, informed that they had gone to Patiala yesterday. On return today, they found the entire house ransacked and almirahs open. 

As per the complainant, gold jewelelry and cash kept in a locker were stolen. 

On getting information, cops visited the house. A case has been registered at the Sector 11 police station. — TNS
