Short course on cyber security, forensics begins

PATIALA:The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Punjabi University, today started an one –week course on cyber security and forensics.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Punjabi University, today started an one –week course on cyber security and forensics. Officials said the short-term course had been organised keeping in mind the increasing usage of the internet and security aspects related to it.

Prof BS Tiwana, Head, Department of Economics,  was the special invitee at the inaugural function. Dr Abhinav Bhandari and Er Navdeep Kanwal, co-ordinators of the course, said teachers from various universities and colleges from the state joined at the department to attend the course. — TNS
