Top seed Arnav moves into main draw

MOHALI:Top seed Arnav Bishnoi sailed into the boys’ U-14 main draw by registering a 6-2 6-3 victory over Aditya Rathore on the opening day of the Roots-AITA National Ranking Challenge Series (CS-7) here today.

Top seed Arnav Bishnoi sailed into the boys’ U-14 main draw by registering a 6-2 6-3 victory over Aditya Rathore on the opening day of the Roots-AITA National Ranking Challenge Series (CS-7) here today. 

Second seed Anuj Pal defeated Shrihaan Kohli 6-1 6-1. Third seed Kanvarpreet Singh marched into the next round by defeating Shorya Jishtu 6-1 7-5. Udhbhav Kaplish recorded an easy 6-0 6-2 win over Naman Bansal. Shivam Wadhawan logged a comeback 3-6 6-3 6-2 victory over Anhad Singh Oberoi, while Karmanya Aggarwal easily defeated Madhav Aggarwal 6-3 6-4. Harwin Singh also marched into the main draw by registering a 6-4 6-4 win over Pranav Sharma. Hriday Pandey defeated Jay Aditya 6-2 7-5. —TNS
