KCW students shine in PU exams

Students of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, once again proved their mettle in BSc (Hons) Biotechnology, semester I examinations.



Students of Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, once again proved their mettle in BSc (Hons) Biotechnology, semester I examinations. The results were declared by Panjab University, Chandigarh. Sukhdeep Kaur of the college bagged second position in the University by securing 415/500 marks. In addition to this, students secured five district positions in the examinations. Sukhdeep attributed the credit of her success to hard work and support of the college Principal besides constant guidance and motivation of the departmental faculty along with the blessings of her parents.

RJ COMPETITION HELD IN GURU NANAK COLLEGE

Radio Jockeying Competition was held in the Department of Journalism, Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Civil Lines, Ludhiana. Students participated in the competition with a great zeal and showed their skills by presenting shows in different languages. They presented different types of radio shows like radio talk, call-in programmes. Micky Arya, Sourav Ahuja and Kulwinder Singh stood first, second and third respectively. Principal Arwinder Singh congratulated the students and encouraged them to make bright career in journalism and mass media. 

KLSD COLLEGE BID ADIEU TO BBA FINAL YEAR STUDENTS

A farewell party was organised on the college campus to bid adieu to the BBA final year students. The event started with performances by Dishant, Rajat & Karan followed by mimicry, comedy show, play and poem recitation. Hardik Khandpur showed his skills in dancing and in. Shaurya Sharma was declared 'Mr Farewell' and Deeksha was declared as 'Miss Farewell'. Runners up were Alisha and Hardik. Uday, Anmol Sharma, Dishant Singh & Aarzoo were given titles 'Mr Handsome', 'Mr Well Dressed' & 'Ms Beautiful Smile' respectively. 

GHG COLLEGE STUDENTS BAG TOP POSITIONS

Students of BSc Biotechnology (Hons) I Semester of GHG Khalsa College, Gurusar Sadhar, brought great accolades for the college by excelling in Panjab University Final Examinations conducted in December last year. The students have bagged three positions in the toppers list. Sandeep Kaur stood II in the university and first in the district by securing 83% marks. Amandeep Kaur bagged VII position in the university and second in the district with 80.8% marks. NavjotKaur clinched the X position in the university list and secured IV position in the district by obtaining 79% marks. The toppers were elated to see their results and shared their secrets of success

FAREWELL TO B COM AND BBA STUDENTS AT SDP

The students of BCom, MCom and BBA hosted a farewell party to the outgoing students of the commerce department & Business Administration of SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. 'Miss SDP' was the most awaited beauty pageant contest event of the day. Principal Neena Aneja was the chief guest on the occasion.— TNS
