Sports camp at Summer Valley School

Renowned coaches Dinesh Jaimon, Balpreet Singh and Captain Louis George organised a sports training camp at Summer Valley School here today.

The training camp was held in association with ‘Kooh Sports’ a new age sports education, training and technology organisation specialised in sports training. The school has tied up with Kooh Sports for a long term association.

The school has recently entered into a tie-up with Kooh Sports to help children master and excel in basketball, badminton, football and cricket sports.

The students at the camp learned about the game from the learned coaches. Dinesh Jaimon is a BCCI level ‘B’ coach and trainer. He was also the lead coach for the U-19 Central team and Rajasthan state U-22 and Ranji Trophy team from 1994-2012.

Captain Louis George has been ‘A’ panel referee for the state and national level basketball championships for the last 13 years.

Captain of the Indian Navy Basketball team from 1979 to 1989, Balpreet Singh is an I-League player for Mumbai Football Club and has also played for Delhi United.
