A night ski training facility, a first of its kind in the country, has been introduced at High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) in Gulmarg.

Maj Gen Atul Kaushik, commandant, HAWS, flagged off the night ski training on Monday night.

This training facility will enable the Army ski team athletes to practice during night as per the conditions seen at international championships. The night ski facility will enhance the modernisation of the training infrastructure available at HAWS.

Meanwhile, Abbas Wani, president, Winter Games Association of J&K, and other office-bearers were present at the inaugural ceremony to reiterate strong bonding between the two organisations.
