Ludhiana: Bal Bharati Public School organised its annual day ‘Mannat-e-Jannat-Maa’ with great zest. The function was attended by as many as 1,200 parents, students and other dignitaries. Students performed acts on ‘Mann Ke Manjeere’, ‘Meri Pyari Ammi’, ‘Kath Ki Kathputli’ (puppet dance) and ‘Swaggy Swagat’. The play ‘Mother is Mother’ threw light on the message that motherhood is cherished by all species of God’s creation, be it animals, birds or human beings.

Orientation programme 

Om Parkash Bansal Modern School (OPBMS) organised an orientation programme for parents to help them understand what their children inculcate at school. Parents were given important information related to uniforms, bus routes and curriculum among other things. Many surprises were planned for the little ones such as candy corner, tattoo corner and cartoon corner among other things. Students enjoyed the toy train ride with parents.

Hawan ceremony

A special hawan was organised to welcome the students of new nursery at BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar. The little ones clad in white dresses along with their parents participated in the hawan with religious fervour and prayed for the success of tiny tots in all their future endeavours. Principal Paramjit Kaur welcomed parents and wished them good luck. After the hawan, students and parents visited the KG block. TNS
