4.7-kg heroin seized from Pak border

FEROZEPUR: The BSF jawans belonging to the 29 battalion today seized four packets of heroin (weighing 4 Kg) near border outpost (BOP) Jagdish.

The BSF jawans belonging to the 29 battalion today seized four packets of heroin (weighing 4 Kg) near border outpost (BOP) Jagdish. In addition to the packets, a plastic bottle filled with 700-gram heroin was also recovered.

A special search was carried out by the BSF troops near the BOP Jagdish today morning during which drugs were recovered.

On February 2, four packets of heroin were recovered from BOP Kalas in this sector. Earlier, six packets of heroin weighing 2.9 Kg, besides a pistol (7.63 mm, Pakistan made), magazine and five bullets were also recovered during a special search operation carried out near BOP Gatti Hayat. — OC
