Chandigarh, March 5
Seasoned shuttler Rajeev Sharma, who won the gold medal at World Seniors Badminton Championships last year in South Korea, was felicitated by the Chandigarh Badminton Association (CBA) at Sector 38 Sports Complex.
Sharma had won the singles (55 years) world title by beating former Olympian and World Champion Joko Suprianto of Indonesia.
Vijayendra Kumar, chief patron of the CBA, and others honoured Sharma.
