Chandigarh: Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) of the UT police has arrested a man allegedly with 720 grams of charas. The police said the suspect, identified as Sanjay, a resident of Raipur Khurd village, was held near his house. House burgled at Mani Majra
Chandigarh: A theft has been reported at a house in Mani Majra. A woman reported that gold ornaments, mobile phones and documents were stolen from her house during the night of Sunday. The police have registered a case at the IT Park police station and started investigation. TNS
Punjab Kings ticket details out
Chandigarh: Punjab Kings have announced ticketing details for the coming IPL season, starting from March 22. Punjab Kings will play their first ever home game at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur on March 23 against Delhi Capitals. “The sign-ups for the early access tickets is now available at https://insider.in/tata-ipl-2024-punjab-kings-sign-up-for-early-access-to-home-games/event. The early access tickets will be available from March 8,” Kings’ management said. TNS
Two-wicket win for Panchkula
Mohali: Panchkula District Cricket Association defeated SD Cricket Academy, Sector 24 by two wickets during the 4th Lala Amarnath Aggarwal Memorial Cricket Tournament. Batting first, the Sector 24 team posted 207/6 in 45 overs. Yuvraj Rai scored an unbeaten 111. In reply, Panchkula lads posted 208/8 with help of Anubhav Kaushik (56), Nageshwar Dwivedi (42) and Rohit Rawat (33).
