Narrow escape for father, sons as roof collapses

A father and his two sons had a miraculous escape on Monday after the roof of a room in their house at Jaula Kalan village, near Lalru, collapsed following incessant rain for the past two days.

 According to sources, the roof of the bedroom collapsed when Mamraaj along with his two sons Mustaq Ali and Jamaldeen were inside. Luckily, the roof collapsed on one side of the room and not on the family. Household items were destroyed in the incident. The incessant rain since Friday possibly resulted in accumulation of water on roof of the house, which weakened and finally collapsed, said the sources.
