Palwal: A head constable has been booked for rape. The accused, identified as Raj Kumar, has been booked under Sections 376, 313, 323, 34 and 506 of the IPC on a complaint filed by a 40-year-old woman on Thursday. According to the complainant, the accused befriended her on the pretext of marrying her in 2011. She recently learnt that Kumar was already married. She alleged that while the accused not only raped her, she was forced to go for abortion a few times. The accused is posted in Nuh district. TNS
