Good days for actors, says actor Shashie Vermaa

Actor and writer Shashie Vermaa, best known for his performances in Shorgul, Bala, Panchayat, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Flesh, was recently seen in Amazon Prime’s Chacha Vidhayak Hai Humare Season 2. It also stars Zakir Khan, Abhimanyu Singh and Sunny Hinduja among others.

Talking about the show, Shashie says, “Now, the third season is coming up where my character plays a vital role in unfolding the twist and turns.”

He adds, “Nowadays scripts are character- oriented, not hero-oriented. Hence new talents are getting opportunities and beside that those who haven’t got their due are getting it now with the advent of web.”
