A migrant worker Dangal Yadav (50) was killed on the spot when a speeding vehicle hit him opposite Hanuman Mandir yesterday. Kishore Yadav, neighbour of the deceased who hails from his native village, reported to the police that he had gone for work in the morning. In the afternoon, his wife rang up and told about the fatal accident that had taken the life of Dangal Chaudhry. The police have registered a case against an unknown driver under section 304-A of the IPC and started investigation.
In another road accident near Neechi Mangli village, Akash Mishra, a resident of Valmiki Colony, Gobindgarh village, was critically injured. A speeding truck hit him from behind when he alighted from a three-wheeler and was crossing the road. The victim told the police that on making inquiry, he came to know that the truck was driven by Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Neechi Mangli village. The police have booked him under sections 279/337/338 of the IPC.
