Members of the ‘PSEB Employees Joint Front, Punjab’ and ‘Bijli Mulazam Ekta Manch’ today held a protest rally at the main gate of the Circle Office of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) here against PSPCL management over the non-fulfilment of their pending demands.

They took out a march from the Circle office to Valmiki Chowk here and raised slogans against the PSPCL management. Later, an effigy of the management was burnt by protesters. The employees also submitted a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann through an officer of the district administration.

The demands of protesters include reinstatement of services of 25 dismissed assistant linemen, full salary to all employees who have completed their probation period and release of arrears of pay scales from January 1, 2016.
