Jainendra Public School, Panchkula



Inter-house quiz at Jainendra Public

Jainendra Public School, Panchkula, commemorated the first week of December by conducting inter-house quiz. It was based on themes portraying World Aids Day, National Pollution Control Day, Indian Navy Day and World Soil Day. Various aspects were highlighted and demonstrated in front of students. It comprised of four rounds i.e. world building round, buzzer round, double trouble round followed by rapid fire round. Nehru House bagged the first position. Principal Leena Sood congratulated the winners.


National Pollution Control Day celebrated at DMS

The school celebrated National Pollution Control Day to create awareness about environmental pollution and its disastrous consequences. This day is celebrated annually in order to remember the people who lost their lives during 1984 Bhopal Gas Tragedy. Students of Class VIII actively participated in the morning assembly to create awareness about environmental pollution and its consequences and suggested different measures to stop pollution. Principal Dr SK Gautam and Renuka Aeri addressed the gathering by suggesting different measures to stop and control pollution.


Vidya Valley School, New Sunny Enclave, Kharar

The school has become the member of Global Schools Programme, which is an initiative at international front by UNO and UNESCO for Sustainable development. A community programme was held wherein students gave presentations regarding all 17 goals: how can these goals be fulfilled and awareness regarding various environmental issues was provided to parents. Principal Dr Suman Lata emphasised on the need of taking actions towards sustainable development. Chairperson Surinder Kaur and Director Simmerpreet Singh appreciated the efforts of parents for their presence in the programme.


CLDAV Senior Public School, Panchkula

World Soil Day (WSD) is held annually as a means to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil and to advocate the sustainable management of soil resources. This year, World Soil Day was celebrated virtually on the premises. Children prepared thought-provoking posters with slogans to create awareness of the importance of healthy soil.


Mount Carmel School, Mohali

The school celebrated its 8th Annual Day-cum-Founders' week with enthusiasm. The event was celebrated on a virtual platform due to pandemic restrictions. The programme for the pre-Primary section commenced with a word of prayer followed by the welcome speech Head Girl Kashish Babbar. The programme was followed by spectacular performances by the tiny tots. The little ones swayed to the tunes of "My God is so great" and "I won't give up".
