Bathinda, April 25
Thousands of students in the district on Wednesday appeared for the Class XII CBSE economics re-examination.
The exam, which was earlier conducted on March 26 but amidst news pertaining to paper leak, the Central Board of Secondary Education had announced on March 28 that the examination would be conducted again across the country.
Students of the commerce and humanities streams, studying at schools affiliated to the CBSE, on Wednesday appeared for the re-exam from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.
The centres for all the students remained the same as earlier and no other changes were made in the roll numbers or other details of the students.
Students seemed unperturbed about appearing for the exam again. They stated that since they had studied for the examination earlier as well, it was just a matter of revision for them.
Rishabh Sharma, a student, said, “The economics paper conducted last month was tough and lengthy. Today’s exam was easy and students got an opportunity to perform better and have one more chance to score good marks.” — TNS
