Woman loses purse to snatchers

Bathinda, March 22

A snatching incident has been reported in the city in which two miscreants came on a motorcycle and snatched a purse from a lady walking on the road near Mahavir Eye Hospital.

In the complaint, Shamli, a resident of Pooja Wala Mohalla, has stated that she was going near the hospital when the accused came and snatched her purse carrying her mobile phone and Rs 2,000.

The police have registered a case under Sections 379 B and 34 of the IPC at the Kotwali police station. — TNS
