Chandigarh bagged 3rd cleanest city award in the Swachh Survekshan-2018. The Mayor said he alone had not received the award but all residents of the city received this award. He thanked the residents of the City Beautiful for their efforts to keep the city clean. With their efforts only, Chandigarh was ranked the 3rd cleanest city in the Swachh Survekshan-2018.

The Mayor congratulated the city residents, councillors of MC, Chandigarh Business Council, Beopar Mandal, Chandigarh, RWAs, Market Welfare Associations, officers & employees of the MC, especially safaikaramcharis, for achieving the 3rd cleanest city position in the Swachh Survekshan-2018.
