Final arguments in Akansh Sen murder case conclude

CHANDIGARH:Final arguments in the Akansh Sen murder case concluded in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Rajeev Goyal here today.

Chandigarh, October 15

Final arguments in the Akansh Sen murder case concluded in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Rajeev Goyal here today.

Now, the case will come up for hearing on October 30.

During final arguments, complainant’s counsel Terminder Singh submitted that “No such document has been produced in the court which may prove that witnesses have any motive to falsely implicate accused Harmehtab Singh alias Farid in the case.”

He further stated that medical evidence have proved and supported that tyre marks were on the abdomen of the victim and thus medical evidence supported the version of the witnesses.

The defence had earlier argued that Sen was not hit by the BMW car, rather he died due to some other reason and circumstances and Harmehtab was falsely implicated in the case. — TNS
