Tricity panel holds meet

Chandigarh, January 21

The tricity coordination committee held a meeting under the chairmanship of Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore at Raj Bhawan here on Monday.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary of Punjab and the UT Adviser as well as the DGPs of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. A discussion on the law and order situation in the tricity was held during the meeting.

Officials also discussed various issues, including coordination strategies that could be adopted by the police of Punjab, Haryana and UT to ensure law and order was maintained in the tricity. — TNS
