Medical check-up camp held

Patiala: The Patiala Allopathic Practitioner Association (PAPA) conducted a free medical and dental check-up camp under the banner Vaisakhi Health Mela at Amar Ashram to celebrate Baisakhi here on Sunday. Dr AS Sekhon, President of the Punjab Medical Council, was the chief guest on the occasion and Civil Surgeon Dr Harish Malhotra was the guest of honour. Doctors provided free consultation to patients. As many as 50 patients were registered for free cataract surgery to be performed by eye specialists. President of PAPA said the motif of the camp was to serve people and improve doctor-patient relationship. TNS
