Chandigarh: Chandigarh lads will face Ropar in the opening second round match of the Punjab Inter-District Cricket Championship for the Katoch Shield Trophy on June 9.



Chandigarh, June 8

Chandigarh lads will face Ropar in the opening second round match of the Punjab Inter-District Cricket Championship for the Katoch Shield Trophy on June 9. The two-day match will be played at the Sector 16 Cricket Stadium. Amritsar will host NawanShahr at Gandhi Grounds, while Jalandhar - will travel to face Mohali at IS Bindra Stadium PCA Stadium. In the last match, Patiala will play hosts Ludhiana. Earlier, in the first leg matches, Patiala bagged three points against Chandigarh, while Amritsar lads outplayed Mohali. Ludhiana defeat Ropar by an innings and 143 runs and Jalandhar posted an innings and 64 run win over Nawanshahr.  — TNS
