It’s an attack on democracy: Tiwari

Reacting to the violence in the roadshow of the BJP national president, Amit Shah, in West Bengal, BJP Delhi president Manoj Tiwari said this was an attack on democracy.

He said there should be no place for violence in democracy. The people  will give a befitting reply by their ballot to the bullets of violence.

Mamta Banerjee is furious because she is losing her support base and trying to use violence to save that support. There is a wave of confidence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country and the Trinamool Congress workers are failing to understand how they should protect their existence in Bengal, Tiwari said.

Mamta is the pioneer of negative politics but the people of Bengal have made up their mind for a change, he said.

Tiwari said, "I want to ask those political leaders who give their reaction on every small and big incident that why they are silent on the "goondaism" and violence in West Bengal. Elections are being held peacefully in the country but why there is so much violence in West Bengal. Who are these persons indulging in violence and what action is being taken against them by the state government."

Tiwari alleged that Mamta Didi was acting at the behest of urban naxalites that was the reason she did not like nationalists.
