Over 500 take part in Yoga Day celebration

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police Families’ Welfare Society celebrated Yoga Day here on Sunday. Families and children of police personnel from different police colonies participated in the event.

The Delhi Police Families’ Welfare Society celebrated Yoga Day here on Sunday. Families and children of police personnel from different police colonies participated in the event. 

The police wards enrolled in six sports disciplines under the PFWS Mission Olympics also participated in the event.

Over 500 persons attended the session. 

Inspector Satyavir Singh Naulakha, yoga instructor of the Delhi police, conducted the session with 25 trainers. A total of 18 yoga ‘asanas’ and six ‘pranayams’ apart from warm-up and loosing exercise were demonstrated. Koyal Rana, a special invitee, said she was impressed with the efforts of the PFWS in promoting Yoga activities. — TNS
