AMBALA: Two municipal councillors(MCs) of the Ambala Municipal Corporation owing allegiance to Venod Sharma today quit the Jan Chetna Party and joined the Congress in the presence of Ashok Tanwar at Chandigarh today.

Two municipal councillors(MCs) of the Ambala Municipal Corporation owing allegiance to Venod Sharma today quit the Jan Chetna Party and joined the Congress in the presence of Ashok Tanwar at Chandigarh today.

One of the councillors, Pawan Aggarwal Dimpi, and Rajesh Mehta, son of councillor Sudarshana Mehta met Ashok Tanwar at Chandigarh this morning and expressed their willingness to join the Congress. — OC
