530 Sikh pilgrims to visit Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: As many as 530 Sikh pilgrims from India have been issued visas by Pakistan to attend an event to mark the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Lahore.



Islamabad, June 18

As many as 530 Sikh pilgrims from India have been issued visas by Pakistan to attend an event to mark the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Lahore.

As per the 1974 bilateral protocol between Islamabad and New Delhi, Pakistan High Commission in India has issued the visas from June 21 to 30, a statement said. — IANS
