“A large number of people were looking at me when I was fighting alone with the robbers, but nobody came forward to help me,” said victim Raj Kumar.
The victim said, for almost five minutes he fought with the robbers and no one bothered to call the police. There are around 100 shops located in the area.
Raj Kumar says, “Even after the robbers fled, nobody called the police. Despite of the gun shot injury on my hand, I called the police for help.” The people present at the Sector 8 market were terrorised. Security guards of two banks and the nearby ATMs ran for their lives. Visitors hid themselves inside the post office and juice vendors took shelter near HUDA office.
A child told cops about incident
It was only a ten-year-old boy, son of a labourer, who came forward and told the police about the robbers, and their apperance.
