SPIC MACAY holds national executive meet

Dehradun, October 3

The national executive meeting of SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth) being hosted by the Dehraun chapter began at Welham Boys’ School here today.

More than 50 national executive members attended the meeting to discuss plans for the upcoming national and international events.

Major discussions were held about the first winter convention being held at the IIT, Roorkee, from December 13 to 19, National School Intensive from December 24 to 30 at DPS, Coimbatore, and the 4th International Convention 2016 at the IIT, Guwahati.

The meeting was chaired by SPIC MACAY founder Dr Kiran Seth. Welham Boys’ School Principal Gunmeet Bindra and SPIC MACAY patron also attended the meeting to support and give her inputs.

SPIC MACAY chairman Arun Sahay, Lalit Mohan, secretary Vidya Vasan were also attended the meeting.
