The government has started the practice of giving grant for the operation of gaushalas and has made strict laws to protect cows. He was in Kurukshetra to distribute fodder grants worth Rs 27.64 lakh among 20 gaushalas in the district. TNS

Man forces wife to have sex with another man for Rs 10K

Yamunanagar: A man allegedly forced his 40-year-old wife to have sex with another man for Rs 10,000 at a village of Yamunanagar. A case has been registered against her husband Lakshman and Pradeep of the village. The complainant said her husband was a drunkard and used to thrash her and the children. She said she had been living separately since February, but he kept coming to them. TNS

Three booked for gangrape

Hisar: The police have booked three persons for gangrape on the complaint of a 20-year-old woman at a village in Jind. The complainant said she had gone to the fields when the accused, residents of the same village, forcibly took her to a room in the fields and gangraped her. TNS
