Jind boy tops Haryana Class 10 Board exams

ROHTAK: Some 51.15 per cent of regular candidates (1,86,586 of 3,64,800 candidates) passed the Haryana Class 10 Board exam— a marginal improvement over last year’s 50.49 per cent—as Haryana School Education Board announced its results on Monday.

Haryana School Education Board announced Class 10 results on Monday.  Some 51.15 per cent of regular candidates (1,86,586 of 3,64,800 candidates) passed th examination, a marginal improvement over last year’s 50.49 per cent

At 55.34 per cent girls did better that boys, whose pass percentage was 47.61.

On the other hand, 7,916 of 11,864 private candidates (66.72%) passed the examination, a dramatic rise from last year’s 35.48 per cent. 

Students can log on to www.bseh.org.in and www.indiaresults.com, or use the education board’s app ‘Education Board Bhiwani Haryana’ after 5 pm for their results. The app is available on Google Playstore.  

Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said on Monday students could download results and certificates from the board’s digital locker, introduced for the first time this year, at their convenience.

Jind’s Kartik, a student of Nav Durga Senior Secondary School took the top spot with 498. Selina Yadav from Rewari’s Jeevan Jyoti Senior Secondary School, Sonali from Sirsa’s Saraswati High School, and Hariom from Palwal’s Bal Vidya Niketan Senior Secondary School were tied for second with 495.

Riya from Ambala’s SMB Geeta Senior Secondary School, Preeti from Mohengdergarh Paras Senior Secondary School, and Zeegyasa from Panipat’s Tangore School Devi Murti Colony came third with 494.

Ria of SMB Geeta Senior Secondary School, Ambala, Preeti of Paras Senior Secondary School, Mahendergarh, and Jigyasa of Tagore School, Panipat, have jointly bagged the third rank by securing 494 marks each.

All marks are out of 500.
