Youth arrested for murdering 13-year-old Faridabad boy

Faridabad, September 11

A youth has been arrested for the alleged sodomy and murder of a 13-year-old student of Seekri village in this district.

The police have recovered the body of the victim which was dumped in bushes in the village neighborhood.  

Rahul, son of Ram Sagar, a juice vendor of the village, and a student of Class VII at the local government school, had gone missing from the school on August 24.

The family which lodged a police complaint the same day came to know about the murder on September 10, when the CIA interrogated one Suraj (23), a resident of the same village, after arresting him on suspicion.

Suraj had kidnapped him, assaulted him sexually and later killed him, the police said.
