Absence of public transport

It has been more than three months and it is still difficult to move about due to the absence of public transport. While a little traffic plies in Srinagar, it is very difficult to travel in other districts. I live in Ganderbal and have to commute every day from the district, but the absence of public buses makes it all the more difficult. Sunday market and travel woes

The closure of the stretch from Poloview to TRC to facilitate the rush for Sunday market, gives a tough time to people, as we need to travel on road. The government must look for some alternative or allow cart holders to keep their merchandise only on footpaths and spare the road for transport.      Saliha, student, Srinagar

No solution to water-logging

It has been more than five years after the devastating floods hit Kashmir in 2014 and damaged the infrastructure in the city. Since then, no attention has been paid towards the construction of drainage system or repairing the already existing drains, which leads to water-logging in all localities of the city. The winter season is on and the weather is expected to get worse, but there is hardly any arrangement to deal with water-logging problem.
