Power supply cut off to tube wells in village

PHAGWARA: Residents belonging to Dhak Pandori village here are inconvenienced due to non-supply of water as the PSPCL authorities have cut the power supply of tube wells supplying water to the water tank of the village due to non-payment of electricity bills amounting to Rs 6.

Residents belonging to Dhak Pandori village here are inconvenienced due to non-supply of water as the PSPCL authorities have cut the power supply of tube wells supplying water to the water tank of the village due to non-payment of electricity bills amounting to Rs 6.44 lakh.

Village sarpanch Vijay Kumar said most of the residents did not deposit their bills.

PSPCL officers said the department had issued notices to defaulters but when they failed to deposit the bills, the PSPCL was forced to cut off the power connection.
