Ludhiana, May 28
Seven students, including one student from Sangrur district, have been selected at the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) award exhibition held at Ramgarhia Senior Secondary School (boys).
The two-day exhibition commenced on Friday and the felicitation ceremony was conducted on Saturday under the supervision of DEO (Secondary) Swaranjit Kaur and District Science Supervisor (DSS) Balwinder Kaur.
“We wish success to students for their efforts. They have made this event successful. The projects are selected on the basis of innovation and understanding of the concepts,” Balwinder Kaur said.
The selected students will take part in the state-level INSPIRE award exhibition. All students who participated in the district-level exhibition were given the amount of Rs10,000 to prepare the model. As many as 55 students from Ludhiana and three students from Sangrur participated in the event.
Students prepared models and projects on various topics are related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Inspire awards were organised by the Department of Science and Technology, under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
